Steph Heath

Steph is the People Partner at Playground Global, where she leads internal People Operations and supports portfolio companies with their People and Talent needs. Her work ranges from publishing the monthly newsletter to developing programmatic tools, templates, and systems that portfolio teams can adopt and customize.

Before joining Playground, she worked at TikTok and Headspace, providing strategic HR support to executives and teams across Care Services, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations.

She empowers teams by creating sustainable, streamlined environments where people thrive. She believes HR should be both strategic and deeply human, grounded in empathy, curiosity, and scalable systems that help people feel heard, valued, and able to grow.

Steph earned her degree in Sociology with a concentration in Interaction and Group Relations from CSU, Long Beach. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Bay Area hiking trails, gardening, spending time with her husband, and caring for her animals.
